General Elections 2008 Results

I waited in anticipation...

My brother and friend arrived, after their Youth Meet...

The rest of my friend's family arrived...

The pizza arrived...

The chips bag was opened...

My father got ready his lap top...

We started following the 2008 General Elections results at 8.00 o'clock in the night...

Although most of my time was spent enjoying Counter-Strike with the 3 other non-adults, I was listening to what the adults were saying and therefore, eventhough my mind was mainly fixed on the computer, I could still follow the elections results... thanks to the adults.

8.00 p.m. passed...

9.00 p.m. passed...

10.00 p.m. passed...

11.00 p.m. passed...

12.00 midnight passed...

1.00 a.m. passed...

2.00 a.m. passed...

3.00 a.m. passed...

By then, the Opposition had denied the Barisan National two-thirds majority... More than we had hoped for.

The Opposition was hardly expecting to win any state except Kelantan, but there was a big surprise... 4 states were won...

The Opposition was hardly ready to have Penang fall into their hands, but instead, Penang, Selangor, Kedah, Perak all fell into their hands and... The Opposition made history...

Only at 4.00 a.m., my friend's family left. I listened to some songs on TV which were in Malay for no good reason but to rest my brain.

After bathing and brushing my teeth, I finally slept at 5.00 a.m. in the morning. The next day, I couldn't get up to go to church...
